Cost of college went up for all students at Kehilath Yakov Rabbinical Seminary

Tuition and fees rose 1 percent for 2018-19 at Kehilath Yakov Rabbinical Seminary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $9,800 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $100 more than the $9,700 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 49 students received grants or scholarships totaling $541,752.

Including all undergraduates (159), 159 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million.
