Cost of college went down for all students at Westchester School of Beauty Culture

Tuition and fees fell 19.6 percent for 2018-19 at Westchester School of Beauty Culture, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $10,092 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $2,458 less than the $12,550 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 78 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $39,720 and 6 students took out student loans totaling more than $51,975.

Including all undergraduates (74), 73 students used grants or scholarships totaling $324,562, and 40 students took out $307,303 in federal student loans.
