97 percent of applicants to The College of Westchester were admitted for fall 2018

At The College of Westchester, 60 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in White Plains enrolled 889 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 13 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 7 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (45 percent) and Black or African American (41 percent).

The school admitted 97 percent of the 824 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 21 percent enrolled.
