Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins has reiterated his commitment to public safety amid declining crime rates in the county. Jenkins emphasized the importance of investment in law enforcement and credited the Westchester County Department of Public Safety for their efforts.

"Our commitment to fighting crime in Westchester County is stronger than ever," Jenkins stated. "We’ve invested in the Westchester County Department of Public Safety at record levels because we are dedicated to keeping this County safe for all of us. This progress is thanks, in large part, to the dedication and bravery of our law enforcement officers."

The decrease in crime rates is attributed to strong partnerships between law enforcement, community leaders, and residents. These collaborations have contributed to creating safer neighborhoods and enhancing security among residents.

Jenkins highlighted the collective efforts that have led to these positive outcomes. "This decrease in crime is a direct result of our collective efforts and commitment to ensuring that every resident not only is safe - but feels safe," he remarked.
