As Westchester County Executive George Latimer concludes his final year in office, he reflects on the year's achievements through a compilation video. This retrospective highlights significant accomplishments from 2024.

Among the key achievements was the signing of the 2025 Westchester County Operating Budget, marking six consecutive years without an increase in tax levies for residents. The county also earned a "AAA" credit rating from Fitch Ratings, saw a reduction in crime rates, increased funding for public safety initiatives, and added new affordable housing units. Notable infrastructure projects were announced as well, including the rehabilitation of Glen Island Bridge in New Rochelle.

Latimer credited these successes to the dedication of Westchester County Government employees: “The County workforce always provides an exceptional level of services that our residents rely on. I am confident that Westchester County’s best days are still ahead, and we will continue to make great strides in 2025. As I prepare to take the next step in my public service journey, I wish you all a peaceful and prosperous New Year.”
