CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE: "Outside the Box in our Parks" continues through the fall

City of New Rochelle issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.

Due to the success of the recently completed six-week summer activity programs, New Rochelle Parks and Recreation will relaunch Outside The Box In Our Parks for the fall, starting September 22nd. Outside the Box in our Parks will be programmed for grades Pre-K-8th. Registration kicks off today, with $10 fee per activity.  

“Outside the Box” fall programs will run Monday through Friday for 4 weeks, from September 22nd to October 16th on a rotating basis at 6 parks throughout the City. All activities will observe safe social distancing for 1-2 hour time blocks and be limited to 15-20 children per group. Program classes include Kayaking, Zumba, Yoga and Fit & Play. Most activities are designed to be inclusive. 

The completed registration form and fee must be submitted by Thursday, September 17.
