Graduates earn 437 degrees from Sarah Lawrence College

About 70.9 percent of the 437 degrees and certificates handed out by Sarah Lawrence College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bronxville conferred 310 bachelor's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 310 bachelor's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 46 master's degrees in creative writing and 27 master's degrees in genetic counseling/counselor.

The college enrolled 1,709 students for 2017-18, including 1,410 in undergraduate programs and 299 in graduate programs.
