County Executive Ken Jenkins has issued a statement in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, emphasizing the importance of remembering the millions who perished during the Holocaust and honoring those who survived.

"Today, we remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust and honor the survivors who courageously shared their stories. International Holocaust Remembrance Day reminds us of the devastating consequences of hatred and the importance of standing up against bigotry and intolerance," said Jenkins.

He further urged collective action to prevent such atrocities from occurring again. "Let us recommit ourselves to ensuring this never happens again. Together, we can create a future where past horrors are never repeated, and human dignity is upheld for all."
