Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Kicks off at Goosefeather in Tarrytown

Westchester County is gearing up for the Spring 2024 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, with a record number of over 78 restaurants participating in the culinary celebration. County Executive George Latimer expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is one of those events that makes Westchester a great place to live – and certainly visit. I encourage you to support our local restaurateurs and their staffs by trying a new eatery or revisiting a favorite.”

Natasha Caputo, Director of Westchester County’s Office of Tourism and Film Office, encouraged both residents and visitors to explore Westchester during this vibrant season, urging them to make reservations and enjoy delicious meals at the participating restaurants.

Metro-North Railroad President, Catherine Rinaldi, highlighted the convenience of accessing the restaurants participating in the event, stating, “Dozens of the restaurants participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week are within walking distance of Metro-North stations, making it easier than ever to enjoy the best food and drink that the region has to offer.”

The spring kickoff event took place at Goosefeather, located in the King Mansion at the Tarrytown House Estate. Chef Dale Talde, who pays tribute to Hong Kong cuisine at Goosefeather, expressed his excitement about participating in the event, emphasizing the importance of showcasing Westchester’s culinary talent and community spirit.

Mike Martinelli, Today Media’s Hudson Valley Group Publisher, also expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Hudson Valley Restaurant Week embodies the vibrant culinary scene in the Hudson Valley.”

During the two-week celebration from April 8 through 21, diners can enjoy prix-fixe lunches and dinners at various price points while savoring dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The event aims to attract diners to explore new cuisines and dining experiences across the region.
