Westchester County’s Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by Cela has revealed the 11 tech-based startups selected to participate in the Spring 2024 cohort. The program, set to conclude with a Demo Day on June 13, 2024, aims to provide the startups with 10 weeks of education and mentorship to drive their growth.
According to Westchester County Executive George Latimer, "We continue to be impressed by the diversity of tech startups that are launching and scaling in Westchester County. The Element 46 Tech Accelerator has proven to be a powerful resource for ventures looking to raise capital and grow their customer base. We are pleased to offer this opportunity to 11 more startups this spring."
Bridget Gibbons, the Westchester County Director of Economic Development, expressed excitement about the chosen startups, stating, "The 11 startups chosen for this spring’s Element 46 program reflect the level of innovation and excellence that Westchester County is known for. We look forward to supporting this group of entrepreneurs as they take their ventures to new heights."
Deborah Novick, the Westchester County Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, highlighted the diversity of the incoming cohort, mentioning, "Our new Element 46 cohort includes a diverse mix of tech ventures who are ready to scale, tackling a wide variety of real-world challenges in healthtech, climate and the environment, social commerce, real estate, and education."
John Lynn, Cela Innovation Co-Founder, praised the startup ecosystem in Westchester County, stating, "We are inspired to see the best of Westchester County’s startup ecosystem come together around our Spring 2024 cohort. Accelerators are powerful platforms for attracting and organizing entrepreneurial communities, but they are only possible when situated in a place where incredible talents, resources, and collaborations are already in motion."
The Element 46 Tech Accelerator program selects up to 12 tech startups from across the county, focusing on committed founders with at least a prototype of their technology or tech-enabled product. Participants benefit from mentorship in various key areas such as technology, finance, business strategy, venture capital, marketing, and more.
The Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by Cela, now in its fourth cohort in partnership with Cela Innovation, runs for 10 weeks every spring and fall. For more information about the Element 46 program, interested individuals can visit the Element 46 website.
