YONKERS, NY – Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and Yonkers Parks Department Commissioner today announce the return of Yonkers’ Summer Film and Concert Series. The series will take place every Thursday and Friday evening starting June 30th through August 31st at various parks throughout the City of Yonkers.
"We are thrilled to bring back this beloved event for another year," said Mayor Mike Spano. "The Summer Film and Concert Series is a great way for families to enjoy the warm weather and spend time together in our beautiful city and visit our local parks."
“This is a great opportunity to discover Yonkers unique Parks, enjoy meeting your neighbors, and experiencing top-notch entertainment,” noted Yonkers Parks Department Commissioner Steve Sansone.
The Summer Film and Concert Series is FREE. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. For the complete schedule of films and concerts, visit www.yonkersny.gov/events.
