This is the City of New Rochelle with information about upcoming opportunities and events.

On Saturday and Monday, please join our planning staff at two LINC Design Workshops, and help us envision a new park along Memorial Highway. Saturday’s workshop is at Bethesda Baptist Church on Lincoln Avenue from 11:00am to 3:00pm, and Monday’s is at Generations Church on Main Street from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

On Thursday, March 9, starting at 7:30pm, the 2023 State of the City Address will be presented live at City Hall and also available on cable and streamed on line.  Doors open at 6:30pm.

First-time homebuyers can learn more about our new Down Payment Assistance Program at workshops this month at the New Rochelle Public Library: March 15 in English and March 29 in Spanish.

Registration for the City’s summer camps for young people in grades pre-K through 7 and Special Ed ages 5 to 21 begins on Monday, March 6 at 9:00am.  And our Summer Youth Employment Program for ages 14 to 24 is accepting applications until May 12.

As a reminder, the New York State Thruway Authority has begun to rebuild the North Avenue Bridge at I-95.  Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction starting the middle of next week.

Finally, enjoy downtown dining at a discount with the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District’s second annual Restaurant Appreciation Week, from March 10 through 17.  More at www.newrochelledowntown.com
