Westchester County Executive George Latimer has extended an invitation to the public for a flag-raising event in honor of Albanian Independence Day. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 14, at noon. The event will be held at the Michaelian Office Building located at 148 Martine Avenue, White Plains, New York.

In his announcement, Latimer stated: "Join Us as we Raise the Albanian Flag in Celebration of ALBANIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY." Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by Thursday, November 7.

The county executive also promotes a weekly newsletter called My Westchester. This publication highlights selected events occurring throughout the week and invites residents to subscribe by submitting their email addresses.
