CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE: City Hall Moves to Appointment-Only Hours Nov. 23

Announcement

City of New Rochelle issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.

New Rochelle City Hall offices will move to appointment-only access beginning Monday, November 23. Appointments can be made by contacting departments directly during regular business hours, 8:30AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. NOTE: Offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday November 26 and 27.

-Civil Service (914) 654-2171 Job and exam applications can also be submitted electronically.

Police Department (914) 654-2300 Due to limited resources, all requests for Police Records (Incident Reports, Accident Reports, Records Search, Letters of Good Conduct, etc.) should be made by calling the Records Unit at (914) 654-2235. Records Unit employees will then be able to facilitate the request either electronically or will direct the requestor on the best procedure for record retrieval.

Many City services can be accessed online. The Hugh A. Doyle Senior Center will close in-person programs but services will continue by appointment. For more information visit www.newrochelleny.com/seniors. 

City Manager Charles Strome said, “While City office access will move to appointment-only, our services to the public will continue uninterrupted. Parks and the Marina are open, sanitation, recycling and fall leaves will be picked up as scheduled and police, fire and emergency services remain 24/7.”
