Westchester County is hosting a traveling exhibit to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Westchester County Historical Society (WCHS). The exhibit will be displayed in the lobby of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains from September 11 to September 30.

The exhibit includes a digital slideshow featuring over 100 historical photographs and ephemera from WCHS’s digitized records archive. Items showcased include advertisements for dairy farms, photos of the Michaelian Office Building, correspondence from Alexander Graham Bell to Hartsdale’s School for the Deaf, Civil War photographs, real estate brochures, a depiction of the ornate 1908 Mourning Tapestry left in the old White Plains Cemetery, WWI posters, a program from the Trapp Family Singers’ performance in Westchester in 1955, and an invitation to the Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Gardens dedication at PepsiCo.
