Former Byram Hills High School player and current New Paltz Hawks left handed pitcher and outfielder, Michael Ascanio, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded Eastern Connecticut State Warriors.

The first game is on Friday, May 17.
