The Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services (DSPS), in collaboration with the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services and Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services, will present the final report on the Live Well & Age Well: The Planning Ambassadors for Aging Program. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Little Theater in the Westchester County Center, located at 198 Central Ave, White Plains.
The survey was designed to assist residents in planning for a successful quality of life as they age by assessing their current status, setting priorities, and defining goals across various topics. These include caregiving, technology, long-term care, transportation, housing, and more.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer commented: “We are pleased that many Westchester County residents took the survey and here is an opportunity to hear the final report on topics like caregiving, technology, long-term care, transportation, housing and more.”
Commissioner of DSPS Mae Carpenter added: “In this report, we gathered information on the top three priorities for older adults in Westchester which we are pleased to share at this event. The report will be distributed to all attendees.”
RSVP is strongly recommended. To register for the event, call 914-813-6102 or email. For immediate needs, contact DSPS at 914-813-6300.
