On World AIDS Day tomorrow, December 1, the Westchester County Department of Health is encouraging residents to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for people living with a positive HIV status, and honor those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Health Commissioner Sherlita Amler, MD, said: “Free testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases and preventive services are available through the County Health Department, and our partners. Everyone should know their HIV status.” Free rapid and regular HIV testing and PrEP are offered at the Health Department's Clinic in White Plains. Residents can call (914) 995-5800 for dates/times.
