In light of the recent incident involving the tragic killing of two Israeli Embassy staff members, Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins has issued a statement addressing the situation. The victims, Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, were attacked outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.

Jenkins emphasized that measures have been taken to ensure community safety. “In response to the tragic killing of two Israeli Embassy staff members, Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., we have implemented increased monitoring and enhanced security measures around our faith-based organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.”

He further stressed the importance of unity against violence and hatred. “There is—and must be—no place in our societies for this violence. We must continue to speak out against hatred in all its forms, and work together to build a world rooted in peace, understanding and respect.”
