Westchester County has launched a public service announcement (PSA) to mark National Gun Violence Awareness Day. The PSA encourages residents to “Wear Orange” as a sign of support for ending gun violence.

The video includes appearances by Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins, Catherine Borgia, who is the liaison for the Westchester County Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, and other community leaders. They collectively call for increased action and awareness regarding gun violence.

Residents are invited to watch the PSA and participate in honoring victims and survivors by wearing orange on Friday, June 6.
