After retesting by the Westchester County Health Department, three beaches must remain closed to bathers due to preemptive closure caused by rainfall. The affected locations are Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club and Harbor Island Beach in Mamaroneck, and Hudson Park West Beach in New Rochelle.

Conversely, nine beaches that were previously closed due to a Harmful Algae Bloom observed in the bathing areas have been reopened.

Residents and visitors are advised to visit the Westchester County website for the latest updates on beach closures and reopening schedules. The County remains committed to maintaining high standards of environmental health and safety across its recreational facilities.
