The fourth quarter of 2018: Mount Vernon experienced a 20.1% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Mount Vernon rose by $76,000 while total sales decreased by 18.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 92 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,000 - a 20.1% increase over the $379,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 113 homes sold in Mount Vernon in the fourth quarter of 2017.
