The second half of 2018: Home prices in Mount Vernon increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Mount Vernon rose by $52,185 while total sales decreased by 3.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 213 homes sold, with a median sale price of $408,500 - a 14.6% increase over the $356,315 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 220 homes sold in Mount Vernon in the second half of 2017.
