St. John’s Riverside Hospital has announced its sponsorship of the All Yonkers Youth Little League. The hospital says this partnership reflects its ongoing support for youth development in the local community.

According to the hospital, participation in sports helps young people develop teamwork, discipline, and resilience—qualities that contribute to personal growth and leadership.

“We are proud to sponsor All Yonkers Youth Little League as part of our commitment to supporting the growth and well-being of our community’s youth. Sports foster teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Skills that shape confident, capable leaders. Together, we’re investing in a stronger, healthier Yonkers. Together, we are #CommunitySTRONG,” said St. John’s Riverside Hospital in a statement.

This initiative is one way the hospital aims to invest in the health and future of Yonkers’ children.
