Somers High School standout Emily Stavola’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Saturday, May 17

On Saturday, May 17, former Somers High School standout Emily Stavola’s current collegiate team the Cortland Red Dragons won 9-2 against the Tufts Jumbos in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Rowan Softball Field at 4:20 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Tufts Jumbos in the tournament.

The Cortland Red Dragons’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Rowan Softball Field.
