On Sunday, March 23, former Rye Neck Senior High School standout Clare Picone’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 11-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Elon Phoenix.

The game took place at Hunt Softball Park. This was their third matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at SJU Softball Field against Saint Joseph’s Hawks.
