Playland will host a Veterans Appreciation Day on Sunday, August 31, starting at 10 a.m., with a ceremony scheduled for 12:30 p.m. The event is open to veterans who are residents of Westchester County.

Veterans can request up to six ride bracelets and one parking pass for the event. All requests must be submitted before Friday, August 29 at 5 p.m. via email. Ticket requests will not be accepted on the day of the event.

Bracelets and passes must be picked up by Friday, August 29 at the Westchester County Veterans Service Agency, located at 10 County Center Road, 2nd floor, Suite 204 in White Plains, NY.

The event aims to recognize and honor local veterans for their service.
