On Saturday, March 29, former John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School standout Omar Giret’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Molloy Lions.

The game took place at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 12:25 p.m. at Mercy Field against Molloy Lions.
