The City of Mount Vernon has announced a Tax Interest Amnesty Program for property owners who have unpaid interest on City, County, or School property taxes. This initiative is aimed at providing relief to eligible residents by allowing them to address outstanding tax interest.

Property owners interested in participating must ensure that all applications and required payments are submitted by February 13, 2026.
