Hastings Recreation Department schedules defensive driving course for March 14

The Hastings Recreation Department is organizing a defensive driving class scheduled for March 14, 2026. The session will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m. at the James Harmon Community Center.

According to the department, this course aims to help participants improve their driving skills and safety awareness. “This course can help you become a safer, more confident driver — and you may even be eligible for insurance savings,” the department stated.

Registration is required due to limited spots. Interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early by contacting the Recreation Department at (914) 478-2380.
