Hastings-on-Hudson urges timely sidewalk clearing after snowfall

Business owners and residents in Hastings-on-Hudson are being reminded to clear sidewalks of snow within 12 hours after a snowfall. The Department of Public Works also asks that people avoid shoveling or blowing snow back into the street, onto neighboring properties, or onto parked cars.

Additionally, residents are encouraged to keep fire hydrants free from snow when possible. More information can be found on the village website at http://hohny.gov.
