The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Municipal Building located at 7 Maple Avenue. The session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with an executive session expected before the public portion resumes around 7 p.m. The meeting will be broadcast live on WHOH-TV and streamed online.

The agenda includes a public hearing regarding a proposed local law to amend Chapter 282 of the village code, which concerns stop and yield intersections. The board will also consider approval of minutes from its December 16, 2025 meeting and review several warrants for various village funds.

Trustees are set to accept the Treasurer’s Report for November 2025. Public comments will be heard both before and after board resolutions.

Among the resolutions listed are: awarding a proposal for design, engineering, and project administration of a geothermal project at Village Hall and Library; adopting amendments to local traffic laws; scheduling future public hearings on additional traffic code changes and electric vehicle charging provisions; and authorizing an intermunicipal agreement with Westchester County for administration of the Rivertown Skate Program.

The Village Manager’s report will cover ongoing discussions about fees for electric vehicle charging stations, updates on grant activity, as well as progress reports on other village projects and operations.

Board discussion topics include downtown parking options and residential parking issues. Announcements were made about upcoming committee meetings in January—covering parks & recreation, affordable housing, conservation, planning, and safety—as well as notification that village offices will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of a holiday.

Residents can access meeting documents through the village’s online portal (http://hohny.gov). For those unable to attend in person or watch live broadcasts via cable channels or streaming services (http://whoh-tv.org), further information is available by contacting boardoftrustees@hohny.gov.
