Due to ongoing snow removal operations, there will be no garbage or recycling collection this week in the Village of Hastings-On-Hudson. The Department of Public Works made the announcement on February 25, 2026.

Residents and business owners are reminded to clear sidewalks within 12 hours after the last snowfall. Additionally, they are advised not to shovel snow back into the street or onto neighboring properties and parked vehicles.

The public is also asked to keep fire hydrants accessible by clearing away any accumulated snow whenever possible.

Further information can be found on the village’s official website at http://hohny.gov.
