The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Municipal Building located at 7 Maple Avenue and will be broadcast live on WHOH-TV channel 75, FIOS channel 43, and streamed online at http://whoh-tv.org.
The agenda includes standard procedures such as the call to order, pledge of allegiance, roll call, and approval of minutes from the previous regular meeting held on February 17, 2026. The board will also review and approve warrants for several funds including the General Fund ($167,193.21), Draper Park EM ($691.67), Capital Fund HH ($314,015.91), Library Fund LL ($7,458.16), Betterment Fund TT ($6,141.37), Prof. Escrow TT ($900.00), and Payroll Fund TT ($3,598.56).
The Treasurer’s Report for January 2026 is scheduled for acceptance.
During the resolutions segment of the meeting, three items are listed: a resolution supporting increased aid to municipalities and strengthening New York’s state-local partnership; adoption of pool fees; and adoption of camp fees.
The Village Manager is expected to provide updates on grant applications, a ConEd monitoring proposal, a Route 9 letter of support, the fiscal year 2026-2027 budget schedule, and progress regarding improvements to the Main Street crosswalk.
Board discussions are set to cover several topics including consideration of a resolution for a county-wide ban on gas-powered leaf blowers; affordable housing in Hastings-on-Hudson; a request from Drs. Clark Way via the Historical Society; deer population management; an update labeled “First 90 Days”; preparations for America250 celebrations; and upcoming events.
There will be opportunities for public comment both before and after these discussions.
Announcements include upcoming meetings such as an Architectural Review Meeting (March 9), Conservation Commission Meeting (March 10), Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting (March 12), Affordable Housing Meeting (March 12), Arts Commission Meeting (March 16), as well as another Board of Trustees Regular Meeting scheduled for March 3 at Village Hall.
At the conclusion of public business, it is anticipated that the board will adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
