Parking restrictions will be in place in Hastings-on-Hudson due to ongoing snow removal efforts by the Department of Public Works (DPW). The Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department announced that Main Street and Warburton Avenue, north of Washington Avenue, are now open for parking after earlier DPW operations.

Overnight, the DPW will focus on clearing areas where regular alternate parking rules apply. These include the west side of Maple Avenue, the west side of Southside Avenue, Steinschneider Lot, and Post Office Lot. Efforts to begin clearing snow from Washington Avenue will also take place overnight.

The department stated that during the day tomorrow, DPW crews will complete snow removal on Washington Avenue and both sides of Warburton Avenue south of Washington Avenue.

As a result, there will be no parking allowed from 3AM to 7AM on the west side of Maple Avenue and Southside Avenue, as well as in the Steinschneider and Post Office parking lots. Additionally, no parking is permitted from 7AM to 3PM on Washington Avenue and Warburton Avenue south of Washington Avenue.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during these chilly conditions,” said Lt. Robert Gagliardi in a statement.
