On Friday, March 28, former John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School standout Omar Giret’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Molloy Lions.

The game took place at Mercy Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex against Molloy Lions.
