On Wednesday, April 2, former Eastchester Senior High School standout John Russell’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Paltz Hawks.

The game took place at Loren Campbell Memorial Field. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at Fiondella Field against Curry Colonels.
