For the first time, Westchester County’s Bee-Line Bus System will offer service on Thanksgiving and Christmas. On November 27 and December 25, buses will run on a Sunday schedule for both fixed-route and ParaTransit services.
Previously, the Bee-Line did not operate on these holidays, leaving riders without public transportation options. The change is intended to help families, workers, and travelers who rely on the bus system during the holiday season.
County Executive Ken Jenkins stated: “The Bee-Line has always been about connecting people to where they need to be, and that does not stop on the holidays. Offering service on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the first time marks a milestone for our County and reflects our commitment to the riders who depend on us. I extend my sincere thanks to our operators and staff for making this service possible and ensuring residents have reliable transportation even on these important days.”
Updated schedules are available at www.westchestergov.com/beelinebus or by calling (914) 813-7777. The customer service center operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with automated information available at all times.
